Sunday

I've really been inspired by the Everyday Matters group on Yahoo (see link below to join). I've just spent the morning perusing through the many blogs and postings of beautiful art. I also posted this site on my Art Interests online conference that I moderate at work.

I really admire your puruit of art. I think it is creative endeavors that keep us sane and get us all through our challenges in life. Read my related comment on my blog http://ditherdash.blogsopt.com/ Post a comment if you feel so inclined. It would be great to hear your thoughts on the topic of the frenzied pace of life and finding balance when juggling day and night demands.

I just completed a posted comment and lost it. Big bummer. It went on about loving drawing too, tho I am very bad at it, and wanting to have some instruction to move beyond my scribbley stick figures. My dghtrs will one day tell me my princesses are ugly and not cutting it as princesses. I must fight off that day with a drawing lesson or two. . . .Care to offer one tip that I can work on over the coming week? Perhaps the bepost is a little too abstract for me at my amoeba stage of my drawing life.

My other topic in my posting to your blog was that a mother should never have to see her beautiful dgthr purple. She is beautiful, but come to think of it, she would probably carry even that off with a certain panache too. Love ya, dither dash.

Your work is beautiful, both the compositions and the execution.

I've had a knitting blog for several years, but I agonized over my art blog. I got sidetracked with life for the past few months and I'm just now trying to get back into my art.

I like your paintings! They have a wonderful combination of color and composition.
