This is a place for me to post my creative ventures as I return to do something I have loved all my life, but haven't pursued in a meaningful way. Sometimes life has a way of forging a path that doesn't necessarily fit what you dreamt your life would be, but that unplanned path is somehow a wonderful adventure that you never could have imagined!

first blog
This is the first post to this blog. I'm starting a blog because I came across a group in Flickr called Everyday Matters. And it seems to be an art group and it's inspired me to draw again.
Welcome to Everyday Matters! The group is wonderfully supportive and welcomes everyone of any skill level ... and you certainly have skills! Great paintings btw. Looking forward to more! Aloha!
Welcome to both Blogger and Everyday Matters. I have found that the more effort I put into maintaining my blog and the more entries I read from others, the more I draw and the faster I improve. So far no one has ever been critical, only supportive. BTW - Love the shading on your bedpost. Very nice. - Barbara
I too have received alot of inspiration from this EDM group (started back in June 2007) after reading D.Gregory's book. And starting a blog has been really interesting and rewarding. I hope you find yourself getting into it, also.
